Amazon sellers live and die by two things: stock availability and profit margins. That’s why we’ve rolled out a set of updates focused on inventory visibility, stockout impact, and cost tracking – to help you make sharper decisions with less guesswork.
Here’s what’s new in sellerboard this month:
✅ AWD Stock Now Visible in the Inventory Planner
If you’re using Amazon Warehousing & Distribution (AWD) to manage overflow or long-term inventory, you know how tricky it can be to keep track of what’s where. We’ve now integrated AWD inventory directly into sellerboard.
In the Inventory Planner, you’ll see two new columns:
- AWD stock – includes both available and reserved units
- Sent to AWD – shows stock in transit to AWD that isn’t available yet
Hover over any value to get a full breakdown, or click it to see a historical trend chart, just like you do for FBA inventory. With AWD now fully synced, you can track all your stock across FBA and AWD in one view – no more switching tools or spreadsheets.
📉 Track Missed Profit from Stockouts
Stockouts don’t just cost you sales – they can drag down your rank, stall ads, and kill momentum. But what’s the real cost?
We’ve introduced a new metric in the Inventory Planner:
Missed Profit due to stockouts.
It estimates how much profit you could’ve earned over the last 90 days, based on your sales velocity and per-unit profit. Just hover over the number to see how many units and how much revenue you missed.
Now you can measure the hidden impact of stockouts – and prioritize restocks based on actual profit loss, not just empty shelves.
🧾 Redesigned COGS History View
Understanding how your Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) changes over time is key to accurate profit tracking. We’ve overhauled the COGS interface on the Products page to give you better visibility.
Instead of a single input or a cluttered popup, you’ll now see a clean timeline-style view that shows:
- All active COGS periods
- Batch or marketplace-specific values
- Historical adjustments over time
This makes it easier to track cost fluctuations, align with purchase orders, and audit profit accuracy per SKU – especially if your sourcing costs shift frequently.

These improvements were built to help sellers like you plan inventory more effectively, reduce profit leaks, and stay ahead of cost fluctuations – all inside the same dashboard you already trust.
